Forecast of the Workforce Demand
Less than 35% of households and 10% of businesses recycle, according to a report by Recycle Across America. Our robotic device targets these groups, as well as waste industries, in its quest to protect the environment while lending financial benefits. Due to our products wide population of interest, its exposure to the market is sure to be a successful one. In order to satisfy the demand of our product, we would need to create a company that would support a large and knowledgeable workforce, capable of producing and improving upon our design. A large portion of such workforce would be electrical, mechanical, and robotic engineers who would work on making our product more efficient and effective. To get our company up-and-running, we would seek investors, who would initially help fund production. While building a strong reputation, we would form partnerships with various environment-related companies who could help us reach our full potential. For example, a potential partner could be Waste Management Incorporation, the largest environmental solutions provider in North America. With the company’s vast network of recycling facilities, transfer stations, and landfills, our product could enhance and expedite the waste and recycling processes for the entire continent. An essential piece of creating our product would be establishing a production facility large enough to accommodate our needs. Not only would this accelerate the production rate, but it would offer a wide variety of jobs for both skilled and unskilled workers. After obtaining our own production site, we would form ties with companies who produce the materials necessary to construct our product. Such businesses include Home Depot, who would provide materials for the external, and Vilros, who would provide materials for the internal. Through these companies and our partner companies, we would market our product through advertisements. Our product’s exposure to the economy would not only increase the number of recycled objects, but it would make the public aware of the importance of recycling.
